Cheese tourism

Those who appreciate cheese and associate it to pleasant moments around a table, also like discovering the secrets of this delicious food and the intense activity of its elaboration. In Queso Los Cameros, we promote the spreading of the Cheese Culture with guided tours in our cheesery in Haro. A journey to the interior of cheese that ends with a yummy tasting of three of our cheeses and two extra virgin olive oils Finca Malzapato that we also elaborate. 

From the work in the farms to the moment when we try the cheese, there are some important stages such as the pasteurization, the curd, the salting, the ripening or the packaging. A fascinating world where the development of moulds in the natural rinds, together with the olive oil baths and the brushing, sign of identity of Queso Los Cameros, is a real surprise. 

Price of the tour: 18€ (adult), 10€ (children from 5 to 11 years old). Due to security and machinery issues, children under 5 years old are not allowed. Maximum group of 20 people.

Timetable: Friday at 10.00 hours, except bank holidays.

Tour duration: 1 h 30 min.

 Online advance booking is required.

For any question, you can contact our Department of Visits from Monday to Thursday from 9 h to 14 h and from 16 h to 18 h, and on Friday from   9 h to 12 h, except bank holidays, through the email You can cancel your guided tour by sending us an e-mail at least 48h before your guided tour time. In that case, we will make the refund of the full amount.   

As we are a food company, wheelchairs and baby strollers are not allowed during the tour.
